QABook™ is a division of QAWorks; a technical software testing solutions provider,
and one of the longest serving testing consultancies in the UK. In 2007, QAWorks took
the decision to develop an in-house test management tool to aid the software testing
process and provide our customers with full visibility of their testing projects
and artefacts. Since then QABook™ has grown into a commercial product used by thousands
of users across the globe from small enterprises to multi-national organisations.
Through feedback from our own professionals as well as the interaction we have with
you, our users, we strive to create the perfect test and defect management tools
for the quality assurance and testing community. Being a relatively young and dynamic
company we are agile enough to implement change relatively quickly.
As a Microsoft partner and champions of Microsoft SharePoint, it made complete sense
to integrate QABook™ with SharePoint. The result is an unrivalled project, test
and defect management collaboration platform. QABook™ is the ONLY test management
product integrated with Microsoft SharePoint (2007, 2010, and now 2013). With this
integration, project teams are provided with a single platform to manage project
requirements, execute test cases, raise defects, take part in team discussions,
make project announcements, manage their task lists as well as utilise one of the
industry’s best document repositories. We consider this our greatest achievement
In late 2012 we began work with Microsoft to fully cloud enable QABook™ on the Windows
Azure platform. We are extremely happy with our final architecture and see this
step forward as truly transformative for the QABook™ world.
